Police detectives have arrested a suspected spy to members of the gang that abducted students and staff of the Nigerian Tulip International School, Isheri, Ogun State.
The suspect simply identified as Turkey was reportedly arrested by a combined team of policemen from the Inspector General of Police Intelligent Response Team (IRT) and members of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) in Isheri.
The OPC coordinator in Isheri, Olumide Sunday, who confirmed the incident said that the police had taken the suspect away.
The DEFENDER’s request for confirmation by Ogun State Police Command of the latest development on the kidnap had not been responded to as at press time.
