Telephone conversation: Buhari, Osinbajo speaks on local, other development including Gambia

The Presidency said on Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari and Acting President Yemi Osinbajo spoke to each other on telephone Sunday night.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande.

Osinbajo is acting as President following Buhari’s absence on 10 days of his annual leave.

Akande said that during their telephone conversation, President Buhari and his vice, Osinbajo, reviewed local and other developments including the situation in Gambia where Nigerian troops are playing a leading role in resolving the fallouts of that country’s presidential election.
