BREAKING: Abdullahi Adamu takes over from Gov Buni as APC National Chairman

Former Governor of Nasarawa State and Senator representing Nasarawa West in the Ninth Senate until recently, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has assumed office National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was after his predecessor and Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, handed transited the mantle of leadership of the party to him at a brief handing over ceremony that was held at the National Working Committee (NWC) Hall of the National Secretariat of the party, in Abuja in Abuja, on Wednesday.
Buni, who is himself is former National Secretary of the party, had administered the party as Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) since the past 21 months and will now concentrate on his constitutional duty in Damaturu as Governor of Yobe State.
The brief ceremony, where Senator Abdullahi Adamu took over as APC chairman, was witnessed by all the newly elected executive members and Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
