Nigeria’s state Commissioner, Igali, elected 1st black United World Wrestling’s Bureau member

The Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development in Bayelsa State, South South Nigeria, Mr. Daniel Igali, has been elected as a Bureau member of the United World Wrestling (UWW).

Igali was among the six persons voted in as bureau members out of 17 contestants, during the UWW Ordinary Congress, which was held in Belgrade, Serbia, on Friday September 9, 2022.

He is now the first ever black person to serve as a bureau member of the United World Wrestling, The DEFENDER can authoritatively report.

The United World Wrestling Bureau is the final decision making body of the international wrestling body.
