Crescent Varsity’s PRO loses father

Father of Idris Katib, the Public Relations Officer, PRO, Nigeria’s citadel of moral and academic excellence, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Sheikh Sanusi Sadara Obafolahan Babatunde Katibi, has passed on.

Sheikh Katibi died in the early hours of Wednesday April 21, 2021 equivalent to Ramadan 9, 1442 A.H. with the kalimah, testifying to the oneness of Allah.

His death was announced in a post by his son, Idris Katib on his verified Facebook.

“I lost the world’s best dad today. As-Sheikh Sanusi Sadara Obafolahan Babatunde Katibi was the last of the titans in Katibi Dynasty.On his lips was Kalimatus Shahadah as his last statement.

“Oh Allah, grant my father an eternal rest and Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen.” The son prayed in the post.
