Iran Warns Israel of ‘Devastating’ Response as Regional Tensions Escalate

Iranian Army spokesman, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, was reportedly quoted as saying that the destruction of U.S. radar and air-defence systems across parts of the Middle East had made it easier for Iranian forces to target Israel.

Iran has issued a fresh warning amid mounting tensions with Israel and the United States, raising fears of another direct confrontation in the Middle East.

Iranian Army spokesman, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, was reportedly quoted as saying that the destruction of U.S. radar and air-defence systems across parts of the Middle East had made it easier for Iranian forces to target Israel.

Separately, Reuters reported that Tehran had warned Washington that a major Israeli offensive against the strategic Ali al-Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon could provoke a large-scale Iranian response.

Reports further indicated that officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were present alongside Hezbollah fighters in the area, adding another layer of concern over the potential for the conflict to widen.

The developments come as Israel reportedly raises its level of military alert while Iran continues to issue increasingly forceful warnings against any major Israeli or U.S. military action.

The latest threats have heightened concerns that renewed hostilities involving Iran, Israel and their allies could rapidly expand into a broader regional confrontation.
