PHOTO NEWS: Enugu State monarchs visit Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate in Sokoto

In furtherance to effort of some committed traditional rulers across Nigeria’s regional boundaries to work with Chairman of National Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria and Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, in achieving a nation that is deeply rooted in peace and unity under one God, the Chairman Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, Igwe Sir Samuel lkechukwu Asadu, this Friday February 21, 2025 visited the Sultan in his Usmaniyyah Palace in Sokoto.

Igwe Asadu was accompanied by some other notable monarchs of the South East state, whose commitment and loyalty to One Nigeria is unalloyed.

The DEFENDER reports that some Hausa-Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba residents in the Seat of Caliphate have described the visit to the Sultan as a handshake across the Nigeria.
