OF BUHARISM, BUHARISTS AND ‘EX-BUHARISTS’

By Dr. UCHE DIALA

That word “ex-Buharists” does not impress me one bit. It makes no meaning to me. And trust me I know. I was proudly one of those who invented the word ‘Buharists’, carried it like a cross when it was anathema till it became a badge of honour and many flooded in without knowing what it truly meant. Buharism debuted long before they discovered Trumpism.

So I know what it truly represents and entails.

It is either you are Buharist or you are not or rather never were. It is a voluntary, personal decision and it is not compulsory to belong just like exit is free and ought to be personal and quiet.

Buharists stand for the nation with Buhari as the motivator in chief. They are intelligent, informed, patriotic, selfless, self driven, self confident and do not need anyone to clap for, endorse and or reward them and it is a full time job. No leave, no transfer, no resignation, no retirement.

Because the work of rebuilding Nigeria which is the thrust of Buharism is a continuous one that only the brave, consistent and long suffering can fight.

What is happening presently is that water is finding its level. The wheat is naturally being separated from the chaff for many are called but few are chosen.

So expect more blows. What matters is Buhari is committed to fighting and is fighting and we are not running away like cowards.

I, like other Buharists will stand with Buhari and Buharism till the end and still continue fighting after he has left office because Nigeria will remain, the work will remain and I never expected he will finish all the work in 8 years.

Please give me a sound argument with credible facts and figures any time, any day. I am game. That is how great nations are built – on sound ideas and facts. Not emotion laden wails spiced with half truths, cheap propaganda, emotional blackmail and innuendos.

NB: Jump and pass if it does not concern you.
