My attention was drawn to allegations of anti-party activities against some members of APC in AGEGE in the just concluded bye-election in Ward B. And I have also read some posts & counter posts circulating in the social media.
Firstly, what is the motive behind the allegations of anti-party from OBASA group? It is not new and surprise to me & anyone who has been following the political trends of AGEGE politics. The allegations is not only baseless & fabricated, it’s a ploy by OBASA group targeting some Exco members in JUBREEL KAREEM’s group to be alleged of anti-party so that they can be suspended not to participate in the coming party primary election slated for September 2018 and also targeted at Hon. Jubreel Abdulkareem not to contest against their Boss Obasa, I wonder what is the fear of OBASA group if they truly on ground as they claimed, upon all the money being given out by OBASA as an inducement to lure some greedy & disloyal members of JUBI group to their camp.
During the bye-election in Ward B, no member of JUBI camp worked AGAINST the party, they all delivered their polling units, while some OBASA group members lost their units to PDP, they should have been accused of anti-party. During the 2015 general elections OBASA himself lost his unit and the entire ward to PDP, we should have accused and alleged Obasa of anti-party against himself.
During the last local government elections in 2017, OBASA group deliberately & openly involved in an anti-party activities in Ward E Atobaje, AGAINST the candidate of APC, they voted for Accord party, and won, their candidate Kabiru Odejobi who decamped from Accord party few months later is now the Majority Leader in AGEGE LEGISLATIVE HOUSE against the councillors who won the election on the platform of APC, Folarin David and Najeem Olohuntoyin. I was reliably told that Najeem Olohuntoyin an APC member is under suspension for 6 months orchestrated by Obasa group, just because he is in other camp. Pls who actually involved in anti-party activities?
Let me tell OBASA group that it is only GOD who give position and take it, it’s by God’s grace not by force, money, intimidation, fabrication, or any power. Desperation of members of Obasa group to go for 5th term is not in their hands, it’s in the hand of God, that’s if God wishes, they should also know that SPEAKERSHIP is not automatic in the HOUSE of Assembly for ANYONE including Obasa himself. Political balancing is coming in Lagos in 2019, Lagos West will never get both Deputy Governor and the speaker, what if it’s not zone to the West which is most likely because Lagos Central is battle ready to take their slot back.
You should all know that INEC conduct of Elections is different from LASIEC where we used our influence against other parties & manovre our ways to victory, we all need ourselves, let’s dig the pit of enemy in small way, so that one won’t later fall in it. Because of Ambition, APC is POLARISED in AGEGE & ORILE. It is divided by those in government, we now have government members and party members. 2019 general elections is close by.
