Beating policemen in uniform act of disrespect to Nigeria – Force PRO

*Warns Nigerians: “Don’t support what is bad”

*Taking One-Way threat to safety of life – Adejobi

By BASHIR ADEFAKA

The Public Relations Office of the Nigerian Police Force came out, on Sunday, to let Nigerians realise one undesirable behaviour by which they disrespect their own country and, he said, that is to beat a police officer in uniform.

Making this assertion via his Twitter handle was the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who said that no Nigerian has the right to confront policeman or retaliate even if the policeman slaps him or her.

He, however, advised that any victim of police assault or brutality should, rather than take the law into his hand, file complaint with the law enforcement agency and that actions will be taken.

Case Force PRO reacted to.
