2023: Wike is going nowhere, says former PDP NPS
Following recent ‘strange’ relations between Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and members of other political parties, former National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kola Ologbondiyan, on Wednesday said that Wike will not work against the party in the 2023 general election.
He said that Wike is politically savvy to go and put the life of his own political machinery into an arrangement that will prevent its candidates from winning elections and put the party in jeopardy.
Ologbondiyan gave the assurance in an interview at a ‘Morning Show’ on a television station in Abuja, according to https://newnationalstar.com/2023-wike-is-going-nowhere-says-former-pdp-nps/
He disclosed that PDP is working round the clock to put its house in order and resolve its internal crisis before the next general election.
He said that the governor was at liberty to associate with politicians from other camps but added that he will not enter into any ‘unholy’ alliance that will compromise the PDP that is already coasting to victory.
He said, “I know it and I believe that Governor Nyesom Wike is savvier politically to go and put the life of his own political machinery into an arrangement that will stop its candidates from winning elections. I know he will not do a thing like that and I am very confident about that.
“I know it as a fact that Governor Samuel Ortom is contesting for Senate in Benue and the senate and presidential elections come up on the same day and same time.
