Rep Chidoka flags off road projects, distributes 1000 bags of rice, cash to constituents

Member House of Representatives, representing Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas, at the National Assembly Abuja, Hon Obinna Chidoka, on Friday, flagged off road projects in his Federal constituency.
Chidoka, described by many as the lawmaker per excellence, also distributed over one thousand bags of rice to his constituents, while he also gave out tricycles to some of the deserving people based what The DEFENDER found out to be needs assessment.
The Federal Lawmaker, who added another year to his age on Friday 7 January, 2022, said that he decided to distribute rice to his constituents so as to alleviate the pressure that January is associated with, for families, who are struggling to cope with house rents and school fees.
People from various wards in Idemili North and Idemili South as early as 7.00 am stormed the country home of the legislator to be part of the program and the flag off of Ukwu Ugolo road and other roads in Obosi.
The President General (PG) of Obosi, Sir Ike Okolo, who led other representatives of Umunna in the community, appreciated the House of Rep member for giving his constituency a five star representation in the National Assembly.
Sir Okolo pointed out that the lawmaker has been doing so much for his constituents without the usual advertisement politicians are known for noting that the reward for hard work is more work.
He urged the good people of the area to ensure that they vote massively for Hon Obinna Chidoka in 2023 so that the good works can continue.
It would be recalled that late last year, over 300 unemployed youths in Idemili North and Idemili South benefitted from the empowerment training program put together by Hon Chidoka. 30 youths were also gifted 1 million Naira each to enhance their productivity and another 50 business men and women got 5 Million Naira each to boost their businesses.
Hon Obinna Chidoka, it would be recalled moved the all important motion urging the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to demolish the unproductive security check points across the country which of course helped Ndigbo to move freely in out of South East for the Christmas and new year festivities.
Mr Nnoso Nwagwu who got a tricycle from the lawmaker on behalf of himself and other beneficiaries appreciated the legislator for his large heartedness.
