Sarkin Fulani of Lagos Celebrates Sultan of Sokoto at 70

The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos, His Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II, has congratulated the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, MNI, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Bambado described the Sultan’s life as a remarkable testament to faith, wisdom, service and exemplary leadership, noting his contributions to the unity of the Muslim Ummah, peaceful coexistence and national development.

The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos said the Sultan’s commitment to promoting peace, unity and progress had continued to inspire generations, adding that the milestone provided an opportunity for Muslims and Nigerians at home and abroad to celebrate his contributions to Islam and humanity.
“Your life has been a remarkable testament to faith, wisdom, service and exemplary leadership. Your unwavering commitment to the unity of the Ummah, peaceful coexistence and the progress of our nation continues to inspire generations,” Bambado said.
He prayed to Allah to grant the Sultan renewed strength, sound health, wisdom and many more years of purposeful service to Islam, humanity and Nigeria.
Bambado also prayed that Allah would continue to guide the Sultan’s steps, preserve his legacy and make his reign a source of peace, unity and blessings to the Muslim Ummah.
He concluded by wishing the Sultan a happy 70th birthday and praying for the continued prosperity of the Ummah.
“Happy 70th Birthday, Your Eminence. Long Live the Sultan of Sokoto! Long Live the Ummah!” he said.
