2027: Nobody is too big to be voted out of office- El-Rufai’s son
By OUR REPORTER
It has been said that no politician in power is too big to the extent that he cannot be voted out of office by the people, who own the votes.
Bashir El-Rufai, son of the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, made this assertion while speaking on the rift between his father and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He said it will happen and without the need for heavens to fall.
‘’Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen and Wallahi nothing will happen,” he said.
Bashir El-Rufai shared this in a cryptic post shortly after reacting to allegations about a rift between his father and President Tinubu.
Despite having campaigned and, more noticeably, regarded as responsible for the mobilisation of Northern Governors who worked hard to hand Tinunu the Presidency during the election period, Nasir El-Rufai has maintained a notable distance from the Presidency since the President assumed office.
An X user had observed this apparent distance and commented on the relationship between President Tinubu and El-Rufai, prompting a reaction from Bashir.
‘’Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen and Wallahi nothing will happen’,” Bashir El-Rufai reacted.
