Primate Ayodele curses 2027 election riggers, plus their generation unborn

“2027 election, God will get angry with that person that will make any step to rig the election. Are you a politician, INEC, police, military, when you take a step to rig that election, your generation, another generation will be caused.”
The Founder and Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned politicians, electoral officials and security personnel against manipulating the 2027 general elections, saying those involved will face divine consequences.
Ayodele gave the warning on Sunday, October 4, 2026, while addressing journalists on national issues at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos.
The cleric said he was opposed to any attempt by individuals or institutions to interfere with the electoral process, including through vote manipulation, bribery, intimidation or violence.
He warned that anyone who attempted to rig the 2027 elections would incur what he described as the anger of God.
According to him, the warning applies to politicians as well as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the police and the military.
He said, “2027 election, God will get angry with that person that will make any step to rig the election.
“Are you a politician, INEC, police, military, when you take a step to rig that election, your generation, another generation will be caused.”
Ayodele also said the 2027 election would mark a significant departure from previous elections, predicting that it would bring changes to Nigeria’s political landscape.
“2027 election must modify Nigeria, as the Lord says, the election will never be the usual way of election and the election is going to change a lot of things,” he said.
The cleric expressed concern over what he described as Nigeria’s prolonged stagnation and failure, warning against the use of violence and oppression in pursuit of political power.
“Nigeria is tired of stagnancy, tired of failure. And anybody not qualified, but wants to oppress people, wants to fight people, or wants to kill people because of the election, that person will not see the light of the day,” he said.
Ayodele further warned electoral officials against accepting bribes, saying he expected alleged attempts to manipulate the process to be exposed.
“Either you are INEC, you want to take a bribe, God will expose a lot of things because bigger power will be in this election,” he said.
He maintained that his comments were not directed at any particular political party, saying he would speak about issues involving any party, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC) and New Nigeria Development (NDC).
“I am not in support of anybody, it is what I see I will say. If it is APC, I will talk about it, if it is PDP, ADC, NDC, I will talk about it,” he said.
Ayodele’s remarks come amid growing political activity ahead of the 2027 general elections and renewed public debate over the credibility, transparency and security of the electoral process.
