2019: Why Buhari should step down for Saraki, Primate Ayodele in sudden twist of fate advises

By Our Reporter

Head and Spiritual Leader of INRI Spiritual and Evangelical Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has come out with what has been described by a respondent as sudden twist of fate that sitting President Muhammadu Buhari should not seek re-election as struggle for the soul of Nigeria appears to have taken in a new dimension.

Primate Ayodele said the President he described as goodhearted leader should step down for Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki as presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to face whoever would emerge as opposition in the 2019 general election, adding that Bukola Saraki has potentials for carrying the unappreciated good job Buhari had started to a logical and more successful end.

“This is the new thing that the Lord has said to me.  Buhari should step down for Saraki so that his second term will not come with more dangerous challenges for Nigeria.  Bukola Saraki has all that it takes to turn Nigeria around from where Buhari will stop.  That is what I have seen and the Lord does not lie,” he said.

A respondent, who spoke under strict condition of anonymity, however described the latest by Ayodele, who only on October 9, 2017 said if APC presented Buhari for the 2019 election he would win.

But clarifying the both “divine” statements coming from him, the Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State-born church leader said, “There is no difference in what I said then and what I have just seen now.  I had seen and said that Buhari’s second term was dicey and that it would come with challenges but that he however would win if APC presented him as candidate for the 2019.

“What I have now seen is further clarification to what I had said that for Nigeria not to go through the challenges that his second will be faced with, Buhari should step down for Bukola Saraki to also try his own best because he has what it takes to blend the entire country together,” Ayodele clarified.
