Zelenskiy suggests swapping Medvedchuk for Ukrainian servicemen

Upon impression that his troops have killed virtually all the Russian forces executing the special military operation in his country, ‘back and front’ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is seeking a swap for his soldiers captured by Moscow as prisoners of war.

Zelenskiy said that he was ready to swap the detained head of the Opposition Platform – For Life party’s political council, Viktor Medvedchuk, for the Ukrainian prisoners of war, which is an admittance that his claims of winning the war is empty.

“I propose to the Russian Federation to swap [Medvedchuk] for our folks who are in Russian captivity,” Zelenskiy said in a video address on Wednesday.

“That is why it is important for our law-enforcers and military to consider this opportunity as well,” Zelensky added.
