Zamfara First Lady distributes free drugs to children, other vulnerable persons

The Zamfara State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bello, has launched the distribution of drugs and other medical needs to children and other categories of people in the state.
Speaking during the launching in Gusau, the state capital, on Thursday, the First Lady said her office decided to provide the gesture for the beneficiaries in order to improve their healthcare delivery system.
She also explained that centres had already been provided for the exercise in some parts of the state in addition to that of Zawiyya Gusau, where the programme was launched.
The wife of the governor said her free medical assistance consists of medical test, provision of drugs, among others.
She called on the beneficiaries to continue praying for success of the present administration of Dr. Mohammed Bello Matawalle, particularly on its effort to restore peace and security across the state.
The free medical programme is a collaboration between Office of the State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bello, and the State Primary Healthcare Board.
