ZAMFARA APC: We are not part of Hon Sani Jaji’s suspension – Birnin Magaji Ward excos

By IBRAHIM KANOMA, Gusau

All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Birnin Magaji Ward, the immediate constituency of Hon. Sani Jaji, Member, House of Representative representing Birnin Magaji/Kaura Namoda Federal Constituency, have disassociated themselves from the purported suspension of the Federal lawmaker from APC.

This was as 23 of 27 Executive Council members of tge ward said they were not part of the decision to do such illegal act, according to a statement by them.

They said Hon. Sani Jaji has contributed to the development of APC both at Zamfara State level and Nigeria in general.

They wondered why some people wanted to destroy his hard-earned legacy.as one of those that nurture APC to its present statue.

Accordibg to the Zamfara Correspondent of The DEFENDER, they spoke to newsmen when they visited the ward to assess the situation shortly after the APC announced the suspension .

They further disclosed that four Exco members, claimed to have signed the suspension letter, had been suspended as ward executives and called on others that signed the letter to immediately withdraw their signatures or face serious consequences .

They further appealled to APC members in the ward and Zamfara State to remain law abiding as they promised to do everything humanly possible to ensure the suspension does not stand.

This they said because the entire APC family in Birnin Magaji does not support the suspension of Hon. Sani Jaji, who they presented as strong pillar of the party, the APC.

Some of the exco members that exonerated themselves included Kabiru Magaji, Assistant Secretary; Yusuf Basko, Vice Chairman; Salis Haido, Public Relations Officer 2; Nafiu Nayichiwo and several others, who spoke against the suspension.
