Zamfara APC crisis worsens as Jaji’s faction Inaugurated

The crises rocking zamfara APC has worsened as faction loyal to honourable Sani Jaji, member representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji at the green chamber in Abuja, is inaugurated in Gusau, thus creating another party secretariat in the state.
Speaking to stakeholders during the inaugural meeting in Gusau, on Wednesday July 10, 2024, Alhaji Isiyaku Ajiya Anka, the state chairman (Jaji’s faction), said the suspended Chairman of the party, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, and his secretary, Ibrahim Umar, divided the party into different political camps and denied other executives of the party their right to participate in the party affairs.
The acting chairman of the party has emphases that the State party chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, Secretary, Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima and other members, who were suspended by their wards due to internal crisis, must remain suspended.
He further said that most members of the party in the state were denied the chances of participating in the party’s affairs, thereby becoming frustrated working against the party’s interest, unity and development in the State.
He added that, it is in view of their bad characters to the party that they decided to summon a stakeholders’ meeting in order to discuss issues for the unity and overall development of their great party in the state, as well as provide avenue for solving the problems and challenges currently facing the party in the State.
He therefore called on the security agencies and the National Headquarters of APC to prevent these individuals from parading themselves as the leaders of the party henceforth”
Alhaji Ajiya said, Zamfara State has been facing security challenges for years, the reparty is always committed to supporting the government and all relevant agencies in addressing the security challenges in all parts of the State
He called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to as a matter of urgency take all necessary steps in fighting the menace of insecurity and other heinous crimes in the State
Alhaji Ajiya assured party supporters and new acting exco of his determination and commitment to move the party forward.
