Yari seizes 64th Independence Anniversary to pray for Tinubu, Nigeria

*Says Tinubu facing 'most of problems neglected by previous administration'

The Senator representing Zamfara West in the Nigerian Senate, AbdulAziz Abubakar Yari has organised a special prayers for President Bola Ahmad Tinubu and Nigeria in commonuration of the 64th year anniversary celebration of the nation’s independence.

Speaking during the event, Senator Yari said there is no better time Nigeria and President Tinubu need prayers than now.

He said that he decided to organise the prayers because the president needs special prayers to be able to overcome the serious problems and challenges, which Nigeria and Nigerians are facing, particularly on issues of insecurity, high cost of living and other problems.

Senator Yari further said most of the problems the president is battling to tackle were neglected by the previous administration.

He expressed confidence in the ability of the president to overcome the challenges.

The former Zamfara Governor said Nigeria requires prayers for sustainable peace, unity and progress.

The prayers were held at the country home of Senator Yari in Talata Mafara Local Government with thousands of Imams, Islamic scholars in attendance to offer prayers for sustainable peace, unity and progress of the country and for the president to succeed.
