What Bishop Sam Zuga said about President Buhari, by Prince Ade
I read something credited to a Nigerian Church cleric, Bishop Sam Zuga, about President Muhammadu Buhari. Knowing the background of some of public statements by the cleric, I tried to confirm whether he truly said so or not. I did not succeed. Although the quotes purportedly were by him came from reliable source, but I will like to responsibility for it if the bishop eventually says he did not say so. Why? All that were said in the statement is truth and nothing but the truth. Excerpts:
President Muhammadu Buhari is not a Jihadist. Neither does he have a hidden agenda to Islamise Nigeria. If he wants to do so, nobody can stop him and he cannot use Fulani herdsmen.
PDP members who borrowed APC t-shirts to enter his government are betraying hhim to bring PDP back to power.
The President has been looking for pastors to deputise him from the churches that claimed to be real Christians, ranging from Tunde Bakare to Yemi Osibanjo.
After having a born again vice-president, he went ahead to appoint SGF in the orthodox churches against the will of his Islamic brothers. But eventually, the man humiliated the president through corruption. How can you fight corruption alone? How can you carry rat and give cat to keep for you?
Buhari is the only APC member with few others in this government, the rest are PDP turned APC overnight, who are even working with tears in their eyes sympathising with PDP. How can you win a war when your armour bearer is sympathising with your enemies?
Buhari is a ceremonial minister of petroleum, a Christian was minister of state. CBN Governor is a Christian, finance minister is a Christian, that means the economy of Nigeria is in the hands of Christians during Buhari administration. Why blaming only Buhari?
What is the meaning of delegation of power, when you expect president to visit every scene where fulani herdsmen kill people, is it because he is a fulani man? He has been sending members of his cabinet to the affected areas. Even me, if I am the president and Tiv farmers kill Fulani herdsmen in their own state, I will send a representative to the place.
The ministers, senators, house of reps members have their benefits fully paid, can’t they make life easier for their people? Is it the president that should come to my village to build a secondary school as minister or senator?
The problem of Nigeria is in Nigerians, and can be solved by Nigerians. Even the best goal keeper cannot perform where there are weak defenders.
God bless Nigeria.
