WAKE UP: The misguided brothers: Where they go wrong

Sohaba were truly pious companions of the Prophet (SAW) but Allah’s command is for Muslims to obey Him and His Messenger and those in position of authority among them (society). Each of the Sohaba became Khalifah and ruled with Qur’an and Hadeeth of the Prophet (SAW). Umar bin Al-Khattab (R.A.) was pious Sohaba but if we are to use his seal for Deen in our today practice, anyone provoking us over our Deen will be given hard treatment but it was Prophet who checked Umar and told him the better treatment for provocative Jahiliyyah (Ignorant).

Precisely, there was a bidoin Arab who entered the mosque while the Prophet (SAW) and his companions were seated and went to the mimbar (Imam’s place) and urinated there. Umar (R.A.), a former pagan, drew his sword to strike the provoking bidoin but he was stopped by the Prophet (SAW) who called for bucket of water to be poured on the urine made on mimber and said (and I am not quoting precisely) “This person has done this out of ignorance and the water poured on the urine has removed the impurity of it” and then the Prophet (SAW) said to the ignorant: “This is place of worship. It is not toilet”. He then set him free.

Reacting to that, the bidoin prayed to Allah (and I am not quoting him precisely): “Oh Allah, help me to do only to Holy Prophet (SAW) a favour that must not be extended to these (and he pointed to Umar and others).”

The Prophet (SAW) then corrected him and said he should remake the supplication to cover all.

This was where the prophet was different from the Sohaba and it doesn’t mean one does not believe in the purity of the Sohaba which made them to earn the best of Paradise of Allah. But they were not the Prophets of Allah and the command of Allah of non-separation among His messengers was not between prophet and sohaba.

If not, how come a dying sohaba had difficulty pronouncing kalimah until the Prophet (SAW) got his mother to forgive him?

This is where those brothers who are indoctrinating innocent Muslim students in universities and mosques today have problem.

They choose the interpretations of the pious Sohaba and of today scholars of Qur’an and Hadeeth above the clear signs and message of Qur’an and Hadeeth and so they are destroying the Muslim Ummah (although it is design of the West to eradicate Islam) because they, instead of calling people to the faith and beauties of Islam, they make the Deen difficult for themselves and so Allah is making life of this world difficult for them.

This was what I intended the other day with Salafiyyah post that I was advised to pull down. Those who claim to be Salaf today are not helping but destroying the Ummah but Allah’s own people will always have their way.
