“Just like Brigadier General Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, came from foreign services as military attaché to become the 20th Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Shehu Usman Chindo Yamusa III, Ph.D, a lawyer, moved from Nasarawa State University on a foreign mission delivering a paper on renewable energy, was drafted to as first to directly succeed his father on the throne become the 15th Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jubrin, seven days ago was named the new Emir of Nasarawa in Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria thereby spelling his, yet another, pull out for higher position from the Buhari’s cabinet.”
As more fascinating positivethings continue to happen to the Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari,a yet another of his ministers has moved from the Cabinet of Change Regime tojoin the Northerner Nigeria Emirate Council.
This time it happens with theMinister of State for Environment, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin, who has beenconfirmed the new Emir of Nasarawa in Nasarawa State following the death, recently, of the Emir on seat.
It will be recalled that HajiaAmina Mohammed, who was the first Minister of the Environment in the Buhari’sAdministration, became the first to rise to higher place from the cabinet asshe was named Deputy Secretary-General in New York of the United Nations (UN)by then Secretary-General designate, Antonio Guterres.
Hajia Mohammed assumed the officethe same day as Guterres began his term, on January 1, 2017 about one and ahalf years into the Buhari Administration where she was currently working hardand more assiduously to the acceptability of Nigerians and global observers onthe Ogoni Clean-up Project and general climate change programmes.
Another of Buhari’s cabinetmember, Dr. Kayode John Fayemi, later pulled out to a more meritorious buttasking position as Governor of Ekiti State, which he contested and won againstthe candidate of then “Pharaoh of Ekiti State”, Ayodele Fayose, whose fouryears in office was largely full of disrespect for the Office of the Presidentof Nigeria as he took part in many fake news, twisted information, death wishesagainst the person of President Muhammadu Buhari and against the sovereignnation of Nigeria with his unpardonable show of shame in China over economicdevelopment process being advanced between President Buhari and President ofthe Asian country.

An ostensibly elated PresidentMuhammadu Buhari, a former Military Governor North Eastern State, formerFederal Commissioner for Petroleum, former General Officer Commanding ThirdArmoured Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, former Head of State andCommander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, could not hide his joy atsight of the new Emir, Ibrahim Usman Jubrin, at this week’s Federal ExecutiveCouncil (FEC) meeting in the State House, Abuja.
The President, who will from nowon be seen as paying home to the subordinate who until seven days ago was hisMinister, referred to him as “Your Highness”, an address that got the entireCouncil Chamber venue of the meeting into laughters of joy.
Buhari who arrived the council chamber for the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at 11:01am had, after the National Anthem, said “prayers your Highness”, referring to Jibrin.
After Jibrin offered the prayers, the President requested the Minister of State of Health, Osagie Ehanire to offer the Christian version of the prayers.
Jibrin, last week, emerged as the Emir of Nasarawa in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
In attendance at the meeting are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-Ita and 25 ministers including the Minister of Communications, Dr. Abdulraheem Adebayo Shittu.
At the end of the FEC meeting, Emir Jibrin formally resigned his appointment from the cabinet and other ministers briefedthe State House reporters on the outcome of the meeting.
