UPDATE: ‘No doubt about Abubakar Shekau’s death’
The DEFENDER can now authoritatively report for the record that Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram terrorist group, was killed during the invasion of Sambisa forest by Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), recently, and that this is a fact, according to Intelligence sources.
We gathered that ISWAP actually invaded Sambisa forest and took over the terrorist control that Shekau-led Boko Haram hitherto held.
During the time of the invasion, several reports abound with some reporting that Shekau was killed, others saying he was not killed but only seriously injured and yet another category of reporters where The DEFENDER belonged, for clarity purposes, limited itself to asking question.
More clarified information, which have now finally emerged, confirmed that the death of Shekau by ISWAP invasion was in not doubt.
