Russia is making damn sure that Ukraine isn’t having a swell week like the rest of the world is.
Unfortunately, this is the price you pay when you have leaders who allow foreign countries to use your country as a weapon testing ground.
Gist on ground now is this…
After the failed Ukrainian counterattack in Kherson, Russia seemed to have changed tactics.
They have decided to keep Kyiv busy. Kyiv is the center where all the planning happens. But Kyiv can’t do much planning if they are kept busy and preoccupied.
This is where Iranian suicide drones come in.
As of Monday this morning, hundreds of these tiny kamikeze drones have been causing havoc in Kyiv, so much, so that western media had no choice but to join in the wailing.
Critical infrastructures and military installations are the primary targets.
These tiny annoying drones are so deadly that they can destroy almost anything, no matter the size.
Don’t mind their cute look, that thing is a flying bomb.
They just loiter in the skies, scanning for their target, and once they do, they ram into it, causing an explosion the magnitude of a missile launch.
Their efficacy has been witnessed firsthand by the likes of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the US in Syria, where Iran used them to wreck calamity on US stations.
The annoying thing about this Kamikaze drone is that it’s extremely difficult to take out due to its small size and maneuvering speed.
Air defense cannot detect it because it’s too small and emits low heat, which makes it almost impossible for air defense systems like the Manpads to lock on.
The US and NATO can only watch helplessly as the Kamikaze drones make rubbish of all their hyped defense systems.
In anger, the EU has called for an emergency meeting on how to sanction Iran for supplying drones to Russia.
America, too, has retaliated in its own way. Days ago, there was a big protest in Iran, and calls for “regime change” were heard.
It appears only America and her friends are allowed to supply weapons to whoever to they please. Anyone else who does it is risking their wrath.
But Iran doesn’t care. They’ve survived years of sanctions from Washington and still thrived. So nothing more from Washington can be worse.
Another thing is that, Iran is mightily pissed with Washington. And anything that will cause sleepless nights to the US and her friends has the endorsement of Tehran.
As for the fate of Ukraine and the suicide drones. It’s a bleak week for Kyiv cos this one is beyond NATO.
The only country for now with enough drone technology to mitigate the damage of the kamikeze drones is Israel.
But Israel cannot give Ukraine their weapons because of their deal with Russia.
If they do, Russia will sell S-400s and other deadly weapons to Iran and Palestine and these countries will use them to finish Israel in Syria and Gaza.
The irony of it all is that for the first time in a long time, we no longer get to see Africa or the Middle East being used as a testing ground for all sort of weapons. Europe is the new testing ground.
