The death of father to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Sheikh Haruna Tambuwal, has been mourned by Attah and Paramount Ruler of Aiyede Kingdom Ekiti State, South West Nigeria, Oba Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orishagbemi, the Abolokefa Ariwajoye IV.
The Ekiti monarch, in an added condolence message to the governor and obtained by The DEFENDER on Wednesday, described the late Islamic scholar of Tambuwal in Tambuwal Local Government Area of the state as “a great father blessed with great son who, right in his life time, had made him a fulfilled scholar and behind him continues to ensure sadaqatul jariya to the record of the father as a doing-well state leader for the good of Islam, Sokoto State and Nigeria.
“My dear Excellency, I received with shock, news of the death of His Excellency your father and Islamic scholar, Sheikh Haruna Tambuwal. Kindly accept the condolences of my esteem royalty, while I pray that Allah will repose his soul in Aljanah. Amiin. HRM Oba AbdulMumini Adebayo Orishagbemi, Attah of Aiyede Kingdom Ekiti State,” the message read.
