The fact of many attacks on Oluwo – An eyewitness Account

The reason for the forces against Oluwo is beyond the surface deceptive presentation by his adversaries. It’s a fight between light and darkness, dirtiness and cleaningness, God and gods. The onus is now on individual to choose where they belong. Truth is the enemy of him and lies their friends.
A few weeks ago precisely on 6th March, 2025, I was a prime witness when the Osun State Governor met Osun Obas at Abere, the seat of the Secretariat. It was unusual for the Governor to attend the meeting except once in a blue moon when the need arises to brief the OriAdes.
At such a point, the governor will come in the middle of the meeting, brief, take his leave while the crowns continue with their session. At the last meeting, the Ooni of Ife, in the presence of the Governor, deliberately attacked Oluwo that he should stop his preaching against idolatry, that the traditional rulers are symbols of idols and deities.
Oluwo, in his usual characteristic, full of courage and confidence, retorted and told the Governor and the kings that he is an unrepentant promoter of the King of kings. Oluwo never misses his path. He is a consistent monarch full of energy, assurances and uncompromising hope.
As an inquisitive writer, shortly after the meeting, I proceeded to make an inquiry from a neutral monarch if Oluwo was part of the agenda drawn for the meeting. The answer was no. I mean capital N and O (NO). On several occasions, top Nigerian monarchs have patronized Oluwo to leave his God and join their gods. His consistency has been the basis for the regular attacks by the sons and daughters of gods. One fought him openly on his refusal to remove his plate number with “ALASE LORI ORISHA” meaning “Commandant over Deities”.
Yesterday, the Osun State ministry of Health took it against the TVC correspondent of the state for a report aired by the station. In a swift reaction, the Osun State NUJ released a statement in defence of the byline, Mr. Rafiu Hammed. This inference is, people are appointed to defend the institution they represent.
Oluwo, has, on countless instances, defined kingship as a position and a pure institution of Olodumare (God). Only God is the King. As such, earthly Kings are representative of Almighty King expected to rever and submit themselves only to the unadulterated dictates of the Supreme King.
Humans, in their deceptive characteristic belief in what they can see and touch. Because they can’t see God, they bow to stones, irons etc to satisfy their curiosity. As the image of God on earth, kings are appointed to uphold this sanctity.
Equally, deity worshipping is a religion not culture. It’s a universal practice not limited to the Yorubas. Before the coming of Prophet Yisa (Jesus) and Prophet Muhammad, those existing have God, and submitted themselves only to The Creator.
The preaching of Oluwo has been to protect the sanctity of God whom he represents. He has never forced any king to accept it. It’s a free world. Such discussion should have been tabled in camera not openly. They must have up to something.
Oluwo public revelation was necessitated by the public attack on Oluwo. When you are being blackmailed by someone you have helped, you should be wise enough to tell your own side of story.
Two days after the revelation, a confabulated story spread alleging that Oluwo contested for the secretary of SouthWest Traditional Rulers Council and lost. It was a complete false story to deviate from the truth. There was no existence of any Southwest Traditional Rulers Council. Equally, Oluwo cannot stoop so low to contest for such. Oluwo is an ancient crown from inception, a natural paramount Ruler which has never been upgraded by modern government.
