SWAGA’23 hails Buhari over appointment of Adepoju as new Post-Master General – Bosun Oladele

The members and leaders of South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023, otherwise called SWAGA’23, under the leadership of Senator Dayo Adeyeye say they are excited by President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointment of one of them, in the person of Hon. Sunday Adeyemi Adepoju, as Post-Master General of the Federation.
This was made known in a statement released by the SWAGA’2023 National Secretary, Hon. Bosun Oladele, dated Friday October 7, 2022 and copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER.
The group, which got its respect from being the first to awaken and ensure the securing of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s interest to contest the 2023 presidential election, expressed its gladness at the development that is the latest appointment made by President Buhari into the office of the Post-Master General of the federation.
According to the SWAGA’23 Chief Scribe, a former Member House of Representatives, former Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation that also doubles as media handler of group, “Senator Dayo Adeyeye on behalf of the group commended the President for making a distinctive and informed choice in the appointment of Hon. Sunday Adepoju into the position at a critical period in the transformation and turn-around process of the Parastatal.
“Hon. Sunday Adeyemi Adepoju was a two term member of the House of Representatives who has distinguished himself with quality representation of his people from Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency of Oyo State and he is currently a member of the National Working Committee of SWAGA’23 and the group’s Chairman in Oyo State,” Oladele said in the statement.
The statement continued, the SWAGA’23 National Chairman, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, said: “Hon. Adepoju is not only a perfect gentleman but a highly cerebral leader of his people, an astute professional Accountant and a disciplined personality who has demonstrated his capacity and loyalty from when he served under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos State and the Nation through his representation at the National Assembly from 2011-2019. There is no doubt that the Nigeria Postal Service will benefit from his knowledge, administrative and legislative skills at this time.
“We as his political family wish him resounding success in his tour of duty and service to the Nation,” he said.
The DEFENDER recalls that Hon. Adepoju has been a founding member of SWAGA’23 from 2020 and has taken part in mobilising support for the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead Nigeria come 2023.
