State of Talata Mafara General Hospital worries Gov Lawal

In continuation of his one year rescue projects inspection and commissioning, Governor of Zamfara Dauda Lawal has expressed worries and sadness over the deplorable state of facilities at Talata Mafara General Hospital.
He ventilated his worries when he paid unscheduled visit to the hospital at Talata Mafara Local Government area.
The governor further said he wondered how human beings were treated at the hospital due to its inhabitable condition and unhygienic situation.
He said the state government would give the hospital a total facelift to answer its name.
He said government would reconstruct, rehabilitate, renovate and provide state of the art equipment that would cater for the need of the hospital and the people it serves.
Governor Lawal emphasised his sadness on the state he met the hospital, saying it was not fit to treat human beings.
During the inspection tour, he also commissioned the newly renovated Bakura College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences, equipped with modern facilities, at a ceremony attended by the state former governor, Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, as special guest of honour.
The DEFENDER reports that the renovated, reconstructed and equipped General Hospital in Maradun, home council of immediate past Governor Mohammed Bello Matawallen Maradun, was also commissioned by Governor Dauda Lawal.
