Sokoto Governor Tambuwal’s media aide, Imam Imam, is dead

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Malam Imam Imam is dead.
Imam died around 3.am at the Nziamye Turkish Hospital Abuja after a brief illness on Friday.
The younger brother, Abubakar Imam and his friend Muhammad Isa, confirmed that the deceased would be buried at Wuse 2 after Jumuat Prayers.
The burial would be held at the Al-Nur Mosque in Abuja.
The Sokoto State Government has yet to release a statement on the death of the governor’s spokesman.
In the meantime, Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria (CILRMN), The DEFENDER Online Media and other friends of Sokoto State have sympathized with Governor Tambuwal, government, people of Sokoto and family of the deceased.
In a condolence message, Friday morning, to Governor Tambuwal by management of The DEFENDER on behalf of the online media and the Institute, it was stated, “Very painful to receive the news of the death of Imam Imam this morning as published in The DEFENDER. We have our consolation in the fact that a better place awaits him and all of us when our times come in ALJANNAT FIRDAUS Insha Allah. May Allah keep and forgive his departed soul. Amin,” the message stated.
The DEFENDER and CILRMN particularly prayed that Allah would give the governor and his people the fortitude to bear the loss while praying that Allah would repose the soul of Imam Imam in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
