Senator Ali Modu Sheriff condoles with Senator Teslim Folarin, over death of wife

Foremost National Championship Candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming 26 February, 2022 National Convention, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has expressed his heartfelt condolence to his former National Assembly colleague, Senator Teslim Folarin, over the sad event of the death of his wife, Barr. Angela Nwaka Folarin.

Senator Folarin represents Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate. His late wife died in London, United Kingdom on Friday.

Senator Modu Sheriff, a former Governor of Borno State, described her demise as a rude shock.

“The news of the passing on of your beloved wife Chief (Barr.) Angela Nwaka Folarin, who transited to higher glory in the United Kingdom came to me as a rude shock, especially as she was in sound health before her demise

“I know this must be a very trying period for you and your entire family, knowing how well you bound with her and the love she had for you and your family.

“However, death is a necessity for all mortals, our prayers is that we fulfil our days on earth and work to impact lives positivity which I know your wife did, haven known her over the years.

“As I share in your pains and grief at this period of your lose, I implore you to be strong and steadfast in Allah from where cometh our help.

“Your wife was indeed an exceptional person, a woman of valor with a large heart and will be greatly missed my all, especially those she touched their lives positivity in one way or the other,” Senator Ali Modu Sheriff said in a statement he personally signed and copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER on Saturday.
