Sarkin Fulani of Lagos conferred with Togolese varsity’s honourary doctorate degree

The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos and Chairman, Council of Fulani Chiefs in South West Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammad Abubakar Bambado II, has been conferred with honourary doctorate degree of IHERIS University Lome, Republic of Togo.
Dr. Bambado II was decorated with the award at the Convocation and Award Ceremony of the university, attended by several dignitaries including President of the Republic of Togo, His Excellency Faure Gnassingbe, Minister of Education of Togo, Mr. Ihou Wateba, among others.
Prof Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, President General, Association of African Private Universities and Pro-Chancellor IHERIS University Togo, and Dr. Muhammed Kyari Dikwa, Founder, Al’Ansar Group, were two guest speakers at the event that also had the Shehu of Bama, Alhaji Umar Kyari Umar El-Kanemi and Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Midala, both of Borno State Nigeria, among others as award recipients.
In the message of its President and Founder, Prof. Senyeebia Yawo Kakpo, IHERIS University Togo was said to have been founded on a threshold of mission, vision and value system that goes for no less than excellence, integrity, entrepreneurial capacity, global leadership inclusiveness and technological advancement.
