One of them asked to throw more light said, “So you too don’t know?  Tell me one of those political groups who collapsed into APC that has come out to identify itself by the old name.  But you can see nPDP do.  Tell me one thing that those so called nPDP have done that Nigerians can praise that as having contributed to the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari to help rescue them from parasitic corruption and destructive insecurity.  None.  But they are looking for immunity for themselves.  So this is why they wanted immunity to be able to really destroy the government and hold Nigeria hostage! Atiku I gathered has sworn that he will never allow President Buhari to win 2019 election. He is godfather to Saraki and Dogara.  So why are you surprised? But APC leaders are smarter than them.  They will give it to them in big way,” he said.

Much as the rebellion that is mainly headquartered in the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria against the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) is making frantic efforts to upturn the ongoing Change Regime that is the first-of-its-kind to be called the people’s government, the efforts are again suffering a big setback as more of the actors claiming to be members of the APC are now being exposed from all angles as truly the brains behind the rebellion.

Senate President Bukola Saraki is the leading actor in the rebellion, according to the latest revelation and this now vindicates the recent report by The DEFENDER which described the dumping of  APC by Saraki’s Chief of Staff Hakeem Baba-Ahmed but not resigning his position as Chief of Staff of the “supposedly” APC Senate President as “on advance party for his boss”, and the boss was satisfied with that.

This online Newspaper had in several editorial comments advised Saraki to drop his ambition in the interest of the nation since other feuding leaders have done so.  One of the editorial comments even went to the extent of calling for pardon for Saraki and bringing him nearer in the overall interest of the nation and Nigerian people.

As if heeding the call of the online media organisation, the Supreme Court in its discretion acquitted the number one lawmaker of asset scam charges.  But instead for Saraki to see that as beginning of new era, some of our eminent readers say complained that he has disappointed them the more by thinking the Supreme Court’s ruling is energising tool for him to perfect his destructive mission against the Muhammadu Buhari government and APC.

The latest revelation came by former Senate Majority Leader, Abdullahi Adamu, who said that the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola, and others of the nPDP who are found as brains behind the recently declared rebellion leading to formation of Reformed APC are free to leave the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adamu, who spoke on Friday shortly after he paid a courtesy visit on the National Chairman of the party Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, specifically called out the Senate President, Bukola Saraki as being one of the sponsors of the R-APC.

It will be recalled that the two leaderships of National Assembly, Saraki and Yakubu Dogara are now openly unleashing their fangs on the Federal Government of President Muhammadu Buhari as discovered in the attitude of the Speaker during plenary on Tuesday when, against popular majority voice votes in support of the President’s Executive Order 6 against corruption in the country, he ruled those in against had it.

Lately also the two chambers of the National Assembly, now completely under rebels who are boasting that they have capacity to impeach President Buhari, are making themselves look to Nigerians that they can do and undo with this sitting government of APC in the country and that include when the House of Representatives spent the good part of the time they are paid for to work for Nigerians to pick what many have described open lies by Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, who reportedly fathomed police attacks against himself and these nPDP or R-APC lawmakers believing him are moving to probe it.

But during his visit to the APC National chairman, according to a Vanguard report, Senator Adamu, who is former Governor of Nasarawa State, said, ‎”I told you here that the so called nPDP is fake. I told you that. I told you these are people who have got felonies that they are hiding and want to use their positions in the party and National Assembly as a facade, as a veil to hide from the felonies they have committed and the whole thing they are fighting is not so much service to Nigeria but service to their interests and I did tell you that they are just staying in the APC to cause maximum possible damage.

“I have been proven right. I told you all the noise about wanting to stay and work for the family of the APC but they are just trying to create the kind of impression that in APC they had no deal, nobody in the old PDP that became the new PDP and went into the accord with the PDP in 2013, nobody stood beneficiary of that, more than the current Senate President, Bukola Saraki. He has benefited more than any single new PDP person and he seems to be the arrow head of this resistance now or betrayal of the party that elected him to the National Assembly.

“I thank God I have lived to witness what I said come to pass. It is left for you now to follow up to know who was telling the truth or lying. They did not deserve the attention they wanted because it was not founded on realism, it was not founded on truth, loyalty or patriotism to the country.

“The truth is, if Saraki and the rest of them, leaders, today in the national assembly genuinely feel aggrieved and genuinely want to go out, let them go out. You don’t push pawns. Nobody who knows the game of chess, wins only by moving pawns, you have got to move the major actors, the kings, the knights, the bishops but these ones have got feet of clay. Unfortunately they don’t threaten anybody here and as far as I am concerned, we don’t see them as reformed APCs, I think they are rejects.

“Why do I say so, we are witnesses to the fact that we held a national convention. We started from the unit level, that is where the ballot boxes are, to wards, local governments, zonal to national level and we had a convention. There was no snide statement from anybody. Three weeks after convention we are hearing some riff-raffs saying that they have formed something called rAPC. You don’t just wake up and form a party or coalition.

“What is happening is that those their principals who are in the national assembly do not want to risk making a declaration so that they do not lose their seats and so they want to justify that there is a split in the APC. That is what they are trying to do. No more, no less. In my place, they say before you see a monkey, the monkey has already seen you because it stays on the tree top.

“I think without being immodest, I have seen enough Nigerian politics thus far and from what we have seen so far, the indication is that we are dealing with 419ners. None of them will stand up to say, oh I was a Senator, I was in the House of Representatives or I was this. How many of them can go to their constituency and say or do what they are doing in Abuja? I don’t call them Abuja politicians because they don’t deserve that, they are just 419ners.

“What is happening today? From the day this Senate was inaugurated, that very day the current president of the senate went into an illicit accord.

“Nobody who is democrat will welcome what we are witnessing. The fact of the matter is out of selfish ambition, out of the desire to promote self instead of the nation, instead of service we got ourselves in this, whereby somebody who was contesting for senate presidency found a way of going into an illicit alliance, an accord with an opposing party, betraying the party that elected him there and didn’t say he has left the party; used the alliance he had with the PDP as it has been and from that the day, the government which is supposed to be an APC government, the national assembly became an opposition party. That is a misfortune”, he stated.

How APC should deal with R-APC in court

In the meantime, some Nigerians speaking through different quarters are saying that Saraki and Dogara should have been identified a long time ago as the moles promised by defeated PDP to be used to destroy the victorious APC from within.

He added, “You can even see that this group of unreasonable educated figures have dragged the APC to court to void the recent successfully conducted National Convention of the party and its results thereby removing the current leadership.  Okay.  This is what APC, who I believe is smarter than them, should do.

“One, as what do they tell the court that they are suing? Whether as APC members or as R-APC or nPDP, the table does not favour them. One, they cannot rightly be APC members the very day they went to sign MoU with PDP to unseat the President of their own party.  Is the Law of Nigeria partial or hypocritical? No. Two, they cannot sue as R-APC because R-APC is not a registered political party and is not recognised in APC and the last we checked R-APC that we heard was launched somewhere is the one that is a group within the PDP family and PDP in Nigeria’s understanding by the Law is an opposition.  So, how can opposition sue to be given right to control a governing party? Not done.  Three, They cannot sue as nPDP because in the first place, nPDP was not even one of the parties that collapsed into APC.  They were a group of disgruntled party members in then ruling party PDP seeking asylum in APC.

“So, this is my suggestion to APC leadership I believe seriously that these guys calling themselves something and holding the Nigerians to ransom through their control of National Assembly are the very eyes of the corruption in Nigeria and we must support the APC and the government to decapacitate them.  Saraki must think that we do not know that he is the brain behind all of the confusion.  Unfortunately, he will even outsmart his godfather Atiku because he too is doing these for his presidential ambition.  That is the danger for all of them because most of them in R-APC have presidential ambition and they have got that sorted out in the Olusegun Obasanjo-led PDP’s coalition of CUPP. Why do they not think that trying to take over the control of APC through court or through whatever means won’t work?”
