Real reason ‘nPDP’ formed “R-APC”, by Canada-based Anti-Corruption Group

*Bad elements in APC have now identified themselves to Nigerians

“Nigerians were glad that with the separation of the members of R-APC from real APC ‘stones are gradually removing from rice’ in Buhari’s government and the chance of the infrastructure and economic development of our country will continue to be more prosperous under President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Canadian capital city of Ontario-based Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria (BACN), in its reaction to Wednesday’s formation by elements of New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) of purported Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) by elements in All Progressives Congress (APC), has said that only politicians of that unpatriotic nature and mission could have been betrayed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In its periodically exclusive message to The DEFENDER Newspaper, issued in Ontario, Canada and signed by its President Waheed Seriki on Thursday, the BACN said resorting to a rebel group as seen in “R-APC” was the very sign that President Buhari has successfully betrayed enemies of Nigeria and that such rebellion could not have happened except by people with good experience in rebellionism as those who called themselves nPDP bloc in the APC.

“President Muhammdu Buhari truly dashed the hope and aspiration of the members of the newly formed Reformed All Progressive Congress party under the leadership of Alhaji Buba Galadima because, it is not what they expect for joining the All Progressive Congress that they got,” BACN.

The 11,000-member Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria, Canada spoke just as APC’s National Secretariat, Thursday, responded to the attitude of the politicians forming the rebel group saying doing so is what they have resorted to, having failed in their plot to scuttle the recent National Convention of the party.

In the separate responses, both the National Chairman and National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, respectively, declared that there is neither faction in APC and that the governing party did not break.

Oshiomhole particularly said if some people had gone to form “R-APC”, they are definitely those who think governing politics in Nigeria is matter of bread and butter and so that Nigerians should realise that there is break within the APC family, adding that he cannot bother himself with them.

In its own response, Waheed Seriki-led BACN Thursday said: “Members of the newly formed party was very disappointed the way President Buhari is managing the affairs of the country because there is no more room for looting business that was very rampant, during the 16 years of People Democratic Party ruled in Nigeria.

“President Buhari stood on his feet and refused to give opportunity to the looters and their cabal to continue the looting of the country’s resources that is very frequent during Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan regime.

“Buhari ensured that Nigeria resources of Nigerians are now being used for Nigerians. He focuses on using the country’s resources to create employment, completing abandoned projects and mass economic development of the country.

“Alhaji Buhari shocked the looters with his uncompromised attitude of zero tolerance for corruption by his refusal to let the stealing of money that belongs to more than 180 million population to continue under his watch.

“The new R-APC was very frustrated and felt betrayed that Muhammadu Buhari disappointed them by making it impossible for them not only to recover the ill gotten money they spent on 2015 election but also make it impossible for their business of looting country’s resources to flourish as usual.

“President Buhari does not only shut the treasury door in such a way that not only it will be difficult for  the ‘snake’ to have an opportunity to enter the room and swallow or loot the money, even if the treasury wall is crack, it will be impossible for the rat to enter and eat the money.

“Nigerians are glad that with the separation of the members of R-APC from real APC ‘stones are gradually removing from rice’ in Buhari’s government and the chance of the infrastructure and economic development of our country will continue to be more prosperous under President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The withdrawal of members of Reform All Progressive Congress from real All Progressive Congress is a good omen for Nigeria.  It will increase the hope, trust and confidence Nigerians have in President Muhammadu Buhari, to channel the country in the right direction that will lead the nation to promise land and restore the hope of the hopeless citizen,” BACN said.
