Patrick Omorodion, a former Special Assistant Media to Nigeria’s Minister of Sports and Youths Development, spoke on the APC complainants and how they shot themselves in the foot with their unjustified wrong against Governor Godwin Obaseki. He reminded the Tinubuists why they are not God.

It has been said that the Nigeria’s governing All Progressives Congress (APC) can bounce back only when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his supporters face the reality and tell themselves the truth how they pushed their own party into shamble misusing opportunity given to them by the real Leader of the Party, President Muhammadu Buhari, rather than manage its affair with fairness to all.

They are told to therefore stop blaming President Buhari for problem caused by their self based politics. Recall immediately after Buhari won and assumed duty on May 29, 2015 Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar began to play 2019 politics, thereby creating serious image problem for the government, hardship in the land and, but Buhari’s personal integrity, the APC lost many states in 2019 general elections due to this.

Baridam Ben, a prolific writer and fiery social media activist, gave a ‘bombing’ reaction to a debate convened by one of the diehard Tinubu supporters, Godswill Otuekong Etuk, who set out to shift blame to the President after they had relied on Tinubu to be the one that would deliver Edo State for their Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The DEFENDER had been reporting how Nigerians were waiting to see how President Buhari would use Federal Federal Might to endorse and make governor, a man that he is prosecuting for corruption running into N700 million.

Ben helped them with a lead:

“All rea Buharists knows that PMB does not play politics. He appointed a National Leader of the party so that he can concentrate on governance while the so called National leader would manage the politics. Buhari didn’t know that the National leader would grow an ambition that threatens to destroy the party instead of keep his personal interest aside and do what is fair to everyone.

“The party will never remain the same as long as the National leader places his own ambition ahead of the ambition of the party. Please channel your anger to your National leader and leave our President alone.

“Do you think he was joking when he said he belongs to nobody and belongs to everybody? That is the kind of President I voted for, a president that places the interest of the country above any partisan consideration,” Ben said.

Godswill Otuekong Etuk had opened the floor for the debate on his Facebook handle on Tuesday saying “I don’t think PMB cares about the future of the party that made it possible for him to serve this nation as President.”

But an APC member from Ibadan, one of those affected by self based politics of the Tinubu-Oshiomhole group sidelined after he was made to obtain expression form of N2.5 million to go to House of Representatives, Hon Lateef Olawumi, joined the debate with a simple and yet to be answered question: “What do you expect him (Buhari) to do?”

Emeka Nwokeocha advising the APC complainants said, “They need clear cut ideology to survive, there is nothing PMB will do to save them from their unbridled greed.”

Awojobi Aliyu asked angry one: “So he should rig, bcos he care for the party that brought him into power. dont expect to see this in your wall bro.”

For bringing such ‘disappointing’ matter, Godswill was told by Mohd Abdu Inuwa: “A very sad and unexpected comment coming from YOU!”

Ikechukwu Justin said, “So you guys have shifted your insults on the president? I knew it would cone yo this.”

Zakariya Mohammed Abubakar made the point clear the Tinubu’s supporters who invaded social media with shifted blames from self pride to now the President.

He asked, “What the noble/Incorruptible  president care most is the country.”

To Abubakar Ali, the President is the problem, as he said, “He is very bad in conflict resolution, he allows issues to get out of hands before applying the damage control mechanism to correct what may have taken him just a second to address in the first instant.”

But Abdullahi Suleiman went straight after the convener saying, “This message shouldn’t emanate from U as a real buharist…. PMB has done the right thing for not  suppressing the wishes of the masses of Edo state. They have exercise their franchise without rancour. I feel that’s how it should be as a good Democrat!! The Era of rigging elections is over by the grace of God in Naija.”

Obinwanne Onwuchuruba backs Buharists position insisting that “PMB can’t be involved in their stupid politics.”

He did that just as Abdul Mu’azu sought to know what Obaseki did wrong.

“Can someone tell me Obaseki’s sins against the party, I mean APC.”

Hon Olayemi Idris said, “You people keep blaming the President for the woes well planned by leaders of the party.”

Patrick Omorodion, a former Special Assistant to Nigeria’s Minister of Sports and Youths Development, spoke on the APC complainants and how they shot themselves in the foot with their unjustified wrong against Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Omorodion reminded the Tinubuists why they are not God.

“They mocked and ridiculed him when he visited PMB with his APC form. They laughed when APC screened him out.

“They rejoiced over his rejection the day some APC governors accompanied him to Lagos.

“They clapped, danced and said he is stranded and no party will accept him, because of the time.

“He went to PDP, they laughed and said PDP will dupe him, and will never give him ticket.

“PDP gave him ticket, they laughed again and said he will never win, because of uninaugrated House of Assembly members.

“Commissioners and Aides dumped him, they sang and danced that he is finished.

“They called him Traitor, ObaSnail, ObaGone, ObaSink etc.

“On the election day, his people voted for him, and defended their votes.

“INEC announced him the winner of the election the following day.

“His well wishers across party celebrated his victory nationwide, and the President sent him a congratulatory message same day he was announced winner as e dey hot

“Now, those who never wished him success are in pains,” he said.
