Progressive Alliance Convener congratulates Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar at 65

The Convener of a sociopolitical organisation, Progressive Alliance of Nigeria (PAN), Ado Ashafalala, has felicitated with Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar as he clocks 65 on Tuesday 24 August, 2021.

Ashafalala, in a statement he personally signed sent to the press on Tuesday, said Nigeria is blessed with a leader whose qualities transcends tribe, religion and sectionalism.

According to him, “Since His Eminence the Sultan’s enthronement in 2006, his purposeful leadership has heightened religious tolerance, cohesive existence and unity among adherents of different religions.

“The Sultan is a prominent traditional ruler, a peacemaker, bridge builder, leading advocate of unity of Nigeria and a crusader of religious tolerance and a great defender of the faithful,” the Convener said.

Ashafalala extolled the virtues of the Sultan, who is the spiritual head of Muslims in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa as well as Chairman of National Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria (NTRCN).

He also prayed God to grant the Sultan more years of fruitful and purposeful service to the Sokoto Caliphate, Nigeria and humanity in general.
