Private business must play key role in overcoming economic problems — Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that the private business in the country that they must play the key role in overcoming current problems in the nation’s economy.

The business will have to restructure logistics, find new vendors and scale up the output of products in demand, Putin said, according to TASS.

“Keeping employment, income and salaries of citizens and support of sustainable and rhythmic operation of the economy on the whole depends on how quickly the private business will find required solutions, understand them. Therefore, we must respond to the external pressure by the maximal economic freedom and support of the business initiative,” Putin said.

“I ask the government, law enforcement authorities and oversight bodies to continue work on removal of unjustified administrative and regulatory barriers,” the head of state said.
