President Buhari’s plane touches ground in Ankara, Turkey for D-8 Summit
Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, who left Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital, shortly after presiding over this week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in the Aso Rock President Villa on Wednesday, has arrived Ankara, Turkey.
The Presidential plane conveying the President, accompanied by wife, Aisha, and two children: Halimah and Yusuf, touched down on Wednesday at the Esenboğa International Airport, Ankara, Turkey, where he was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Turkey; Governor of Ankara, and other officials.
On Thursday, the Africa’s strongest man will lead the Nigerian delegation in bilateral talks with their Turkish counterparts, as stated in a statement in Abuja by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.
