PHOTO NEWS: Remains of late Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff arrive Lagos Airport en-route Abuja

The DEFENDER reports that the remains of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, have arrived at the Nigerian Air Force wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos en route Abuja.

Received by troops of the Guards Brigade, who subsequently paid their last respects following arrival at exactly 9 am, General Lagbaja’s remains will be flown from Ikeja into the waiting arms black band wearing mourning military officers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja as preparation for his funeral commences.
