PHOTO NEWS: Arowona, Publisher of Royal News, turbaned Shettiman Okuta

The Okuta Emirate, Baruteen Local Government of Kwara State, Saturday conferred on Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona a traditional title of Shettima.

The conferment, which was part of the annual Gaani Cultural Festival in Okuta community, was graced by the state Governor, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, his deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi, the Speaker, and other dignitaries both within and outside the state.

In the meantime, the family of Defender Media Limited, publishers of The DEFENDER Newspaper Nigeria, has congratulated the fellow professional colleague on his successful installation.

Arowona is publisher of Royal News online newspaper, based in Ilorin, Kwara State, North Central Nigeria.
