PDP clears all 14 chairmanship seats in Zamfara LG elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared as winner of the local government election held on Saturday November 16, 2024 in Zamfara State.
Declaring the results at the collation center, the Executive Chairman Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZSIEC), Alhaji Bala Aliyu Gusau, said all the PDP candidates satisfied the provision of the requirements of law to be declared winners.
Bala Aliyu said all the 147 political wards were won by PDP with 147 Councillors across the state.
He commended the parties that participated in the elections for their show of maturity and commitment to tenents of democracy as there was no reported cases of violence during or after the elections.
The Chairmen have been issued with Certificates of Return.
