Internet Abuse Awareness and Prevention Project powered by Onadipe Technologies is a project that attempts to improve the understanding of people concerning online risks. This project presents a situation that people face while surfing the internet and helps them on how to stay safe online. Most people, especially teenagers, spend a substantial share of their time on internet. This has posed to be a threat to the private lives of our children.

Many teenagers use social media to post extensive information and photos, which will remain online for potentially extended period. This information can have harmful effects on them in the long run. Children also risk coming in contact with illegal or dangerous content, which is increasingly available online, including pornography and other violent material.

Due to the forgoing, the CEO Onadipe Technologies and Founder, Internet Safety Magazine, with his team came up with essential strategies which include research, counseling, educating the public on the dangers and lasting solutions to internet abuse & cyber crimes, rehabilitation and empowerment of repentant cyber criminals through vocational training.

However, it is imperative that we all have a role to play in making sure the internet is a safe community for our children. This is due to the fact that they are the most vulnerable. Therefore, parents can use filtering tools and parental controls on the gadgets they use. Children have the knowledge but not the power to use the computer. As parents, we have to monitor what they do on the computer always and at all times.”

In his closing remarks after presenting the internet safety magazine to Hon. Oladeji, Onadipe appreciated the lawmaker for her support, encouragement and promotion of his internet safety project. He said “Hon. Bimbo Oladeji’s contribution to his organization’s internet safety magazine will go a long way in educating parents all over the world on how to protect their children against online dangers.”
