No amount of Atiku’s money will make me betray Nigeria – Dr. Idris Ahmed

CUPS Director, Dr. Idris Ahmed, has against said that there would be no amount of money spent in bribe that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, would give to him, which he would accept to betray Nigeria and its people.

The United Kingdom-based Cryptologist and Cyber security Lead Engineer stated this on his Facebook page on Sunday.

The DEFENDER reports that Ahmed had earlier exposed Atiku as having paid unspecified number of Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) $1 million each to compromise the credibility of the election process thereby awarding victory to him.

It was however learned that such plans by Atiku and his party had been thwarted by INEC’s abrupt cancelling and shifting of the polls from Saturday 16 February to now hold Saturday 23 February, 2019.

The CUPS boss said: “There is no amount of money (bribe) that Atiku Abubakar would give me, to betray Nigeria and Nigerians. This explains why I refused his aide’s invitation for me to meet he Atiku in Paris or Switzerland, for settlement. This also explains why I have so much disdain for the man and his corrupt PDP cabal!”

Since the report had been published, we have received various contacts by both PDP who were asked to declare it fake news if they wanted to but who failed to do so.

In the meantime, Coordinator of MBO Strategy Group in Oyo State, Mr. Hammed Eleyele, confirmed Sunday that Atiku sent over N1 billion to Oyo State on the eve of the election that was later cancelled. Another contributor however put the amount sent to Oyo State at N2 billion.
