Nigeria’s coronavirus cases rise by 195 to 3,145 as deaths hit 103

As Nigeria moves past the Tripple T stage of “Tracking, Tracing and Treating” to community transmission in the management of the coronavirus pandemic, the number of confirmed cases in the country has risen to 3,145 as 195 new cases were announced Wednesday night.

According to the daily tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 103 people have died so far while 534, treated, have been discharged.

The 195 new cases are broken down into: “82-Lagos, 30-Kano, 19-Zamfara, 18-Sokoto, 10-Borno, 9-FCT, 8-Oyo, 5-Kebbi, 5-Gombe, 4-Ogun, 3-Katsina, 1-Kaduna, 1-Adamawa,” the NCDC tweeted.

It added that, “3145 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 534 Deaths: 103.”
