Nigeria records 1,244 new cases of COVID-19
Nigeria has recorded three deaths and 1,244 cases according to announce by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday.
The NCDC, which made this announcement via its verified Twitter handle, said that the new infections were reported in 28 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Lagos is still topping the chat with 774 cases followed by the FCT 124 and Plateau state came third with 102, according to NCDC data.
Anambra 47, Ondo 46, Rivers 27, Edo 18, Kaduna, Ogun and Gombe 16 each, Bauchi 11, Kano 11, Nasarawa 10, Akwa Ibom 7, Sokoto 7, Borno 5, Ekiti 4 and Zamfara 2.
By the latest update, The DEFENDER reports that Nigeria now has 101,331 confirmed cases out of which 80,491 have been discharged and 1,361 people have died.
