Muhammadu Sanusi II installed Chancellor Kaduna State University

Former Emir of Kano and Leader of Tijaniyyah Suffism in Nigeria, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II has been installed Chancellor of Kaduna State University in Kaduna.

Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, on Saturday 25 September, 2021, decorated the new chancellor in his capacity as visitor at the fourth combined convocation of the university.

The DEFENDER reports that Alhaji Sanusi II, who remains ‘unputdownable’ in talk of economy and finance, was named the institution’s chancellor in March this year before he was installed in Senegal as leader of Tijaniyyah.

In the meantime, President of the Advisory Board of The DEFENDER Newspaper Nigeria, AIG Mu’azu Idris Hadejia (Rtd), has congratulated the former Emir while wishing him successes in his duty to turn the university around for better.
