Marafa urges Gov Matawalle to provide Zamfara farmers with modern farming equipment

The Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Mohammed Bello Matawalle, has been called upon to come to the aid of farmers in the state by providing the with modern farming equipment for bumper harvest.
Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa made this call while addressing his loyalists in Maradun Local Government Area on the need to embrace the reconciliation among the three warring All Progressives Congress (APC) factions in the state.
The gathering, which is aimed at showing solidarity support and alliance of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa loyalists with Governor Bello Matawalle, is to overcome insecurity and other numerous problems facing the state.
Marafa, who was represented by Alhaji Bello Bakyasuwa Soja, said the call became imperative considering the low output from last year’s harvest as a result of shortage of animals which energy the rural dwellers usually utilize for farming and cultivating of crops.
He also called on the general public to contribute their quota to ensure peaceful coexistence in the state.
In his welcome address the former factional APC chairman of the in the local government, Hon. Sani Muhammad Kaya, said Marafa loyalists are trustworthy, firm and stuck to their political interest without compromises.
He therefore called on the recognised party leadership to carry everybody along, adding that rural dwellers needed to be considered in all activities of the political party.
Responding, Maradun Local Government sole administrator, Hon.Umar Mu’azu Faru (Na Abu), showed his appreciation on the achievements and unity brought by the reconciliation and assured Sen. Marafa loyalists of equal treatment with the rest of his party supporters and urged them to keep up consultations.
According to him, the party has already emerged victorious coming 2023 general elections with the look of things.
Also speaking, Maradun Local Government party chairman, Hon. Yakubu Gado, showed his readiness to work together with them all the times.
