Maintain your voting spirit, vote Labour Gov’ship, Assembly candidates March 11, Obi tells Nigerians

By BASHIR ADEFAKA

Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25, 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, Dr. Peter Obi, has appealed to members and supporters of the ‘surprise party’ as well as all Nigerians to come out en-masse and prove to the world that they truly voted for the party, during the last Saturday’s presidential election, by voting again – and this time – for all its Governorship and Houses of Assembly Candidates across the country.

Obi gave this appeal during a post-poll press conference he addressed in Abuja, broadcast live and monitored from Lagos by The DEFENDER, on Thursday March 2, 2023.

The new bride, Labour Party, from a never expected corner, launched the ballot salvo that has continued to keep in abeyance, declared winner of the presidential election, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his allies and supporters.

Tinubu has held sway as political garrison commander of Lagos State politics for 24 years since return of the Fourth Republic, but he was defeated at the presidential election and the voters have been asked to repeat it for Labour Party’s Governorship Candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and all House of Assembly candidates of the party in coming Saturday state electron.

“I urge you all to continue with your campaigns and troop out on Saturday 11th March 2023 to vote massively again for Labour Party, LP, (Mama, Papa and Pikin) in the Governorship and State Assembly Elections. Please do not despair at a time when we can still achieve massive victories in the forthcoming elections on the 11th of March 2023,” Dr. Peter Obi said.
