President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, has noted that the Kyiv regime is trying to drag out the negotiations, putting forward more and more unrealistic proposals, the Kremlin press service says.

“Nevertheless, the Russian side is ready to continue the search for solutions in line with its well-known principled approaches,” the message says.

Putin drew Scholz’s attention to rocket attacks by Ukrainian security forces on residential areas of Donetsk and Makiivka, which resulted in heavy loss of lives, which the West ignored.

The President also noted that the Russian military in Ukraine is doing everything possible to save the lives of civilians.

Russia launched a military operation on February 24 to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine .

The armed forces say they are only targeting military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops. There are casualties on both sides.
